(confetti parties, glitter in her hair, saturated neon lights, a storm of bubblegum pink. really, she knows all about fun.) some people say she takes after her father (eros) more and even her grandmother (aphrodite). but underneath her cherry lip gloss and winged eyeliner, she’s the girl who finds joy in things as small as ladybugs, who walks barefoot in rose gardens. her mother (psyche) knows about human suffering, so she knows appreciation. what’s eternal life without a little enjoyment?
